My Career So Far

UIUX & HMI Designer
DFINITY
March 2025 - June 2025 / Remote

Joined the governance team to help improve the NNS dapp – a Web3 Governance platform. I worked on UX problems, designed new features like an address book, and updated parts of the app for better clarity, accessibility, and consistency. I also contributed to their design system and met the team in Switzerland (which was very cool).

Lead Designer
Iridescent Technology
Jul 2024 – Aug 2024 / Remote

Led the branding and launch site for ZavmoAI, an AI-powered learning tool. The turnaround was tight – just four weeks – but I delivered the brand identity and website, working closely with their founder and senior product designer.

Digital Designer
Growth Engineering Ltd
June 2018 - March 2025 / Windsor, UK

Spearheaded digital design across all key touchpoints: from the website and marketing to the LMS and Learning App. I introduced a scalable client design system, redesigned core parts of our app to improve usability and engagement, and collaborated with product managers and developers to shape new features. This is where I really leaned into UI/UX – using design thinking, user feedback, and interaction patterns to create more intuitive, engaging experiences for our users.

Web Designer & Developer
Growth Engineering Ltd
June 2018 - March 2025 / Windsor, UK

Took ownership of the company website – leading the design, development, and ongoing optimisation. I worked closely with marketing to improve user journeys and conversions, introduced more scalable content templates, and optimised performance and accessibility. This role really developed my ability to balance design with technical constraints, and improved my communication with developers and stakeholders alike.

Junior Designer
Growth Engineering Ltd
June 2018 - March 2025 / Windsor, UK

Focused on creating webpages, email templates, and print materials to support marketing campaigns. I built out sandbox demo sites and supported the sales team with custom visuals and presentation assets. It was a great grounding in brand consistency and design for conversion – helping me understand how visuals could directly support business goals.

Web Designer & Developer
InGear Media Ltd
Oct 2017 - May 2018 / London, UK

Designed and built custom WordPress sites for clients, along with branding, motion graphics, and print work. It gave me a solid understanding of design from concept through to development and delivery.

BA Graphic Communications
Bath School of Design
2014 - 2017 / Bath, UK

The three-year design degree covered a wide range of manual and digital design skills, including drawing, screen printing, motion graphics, and professional context, with students concluding their studies by creating portfolio projects and gaining practical experience through live briefs.

My Story

A Bit About My Journey

Early Curiosity → Creative Career

I’ve always been drawn to tech and design. As a kid, I was the one messing around with Microsoft Paint and breaking computers just to fix them. I got into graphic design during college, then studied it properly at Bath School of Design – mixing branding, UI/UX, code, motion, and web.

After graduating, I leaned into digital design and picked up web development along the way. That mix of design and dev really helped me bridge the gap between visuals and how they’re built – something I still bring to every project today.

Where I Am Now

These days, I focus on UI/UX and product design. I like solving problems through clean, user-friendly design, and thinking about the why behind every interaction. I’ve worked on apps, websites, and internal platforms – always with the aim of making them easier and more enjoyable to use.

I’m big on collaboration, love working with devs and PMs, and believe good design happens when you listen, test, and iterate.
